Structure of Government Chart

This chart is a fairly simple chart. Our government is a government that is based on direct democracy. Because of this, almost all of our government employees are on the committee that decides issues. This committee is very small, and is the deciding body on what goes on the ballot. This committee does this through the citizens input, and in cooperation with voters. Through this process, decisions are made.

Some decisions can lead to a new government body being formed. For example, if legslitation was passed to add a representative body, and eliminate direct democracy, this would take effect and the people would form the government that they thought was best for them.

One arrow goes from the Judges to the Decisions Made. This arrow goes both ways. The first way, from the Judges to the Decision Made, is to show that the judges ruling has some input into the laws and how the laws are interpreted. The judges decide what a law means through their ruling, and they can ultimately change the meaning of a law in this way. However, the arrow is two-sided. Through the quarterly elections, stricter laws can be enforced that can limit how the judges rule. It is through this process that the judges are kept in check.

That begs the question, how is the committee that decides the issues kept in check? Well, ultimately that committee is kept in check just like a desk worker is kept in check. The voters can put an issue on the next ballot by getting 1000 or more signatures. Because of this, the voters can decide to “fire” a committee member, just like a bos would a desk worker.
